i can just see gabriel and lucifer each hanging off of one of sam’s arms screaming “pay attention to me!!”. it would be like that story about the north wind and the sun trying to get the man to take off his cloak, but in this case it’s like a tornado and a hurricane each trying to get him to take off his jacket. poor sam.
